The theme of the Iowa Innovation, Business, and Law (IBL) Center's Fall 2022 speaker series is "From Antiquities to Warhol: exploring the intersection of art and law." This series coincides with a number of significant art-related events at Iowa and beyond, including the opening of our new University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art; the visit of Professor Jasmine Adbel-khalik for the fall semester, and the Supreme Court case of Warhol v. Goldsmith. A mix of academic, practitioner, law, and non-law in-person speakers will present in their areas of expertise.
Following are the dates and speakers. Entries link to individual events with more detailed descriptions and speaker bios, along with information on how to RSVP for a lunch (if in person) or watch online for events being livestreamed.
