The Iowa Intellectual Property Law Association (“IIPLA”) is offering two one-time, non-renewable scholarships to current first- or second-year law students at the University of Iowa College of Law. Applicants must be in good standing, pursuing a J.D. degree at the University of Iowa College of Law and have an interest in practicing intellectual property law in Iowa after graduation. One $2000 and one $1000 scholarship will be awarded to qualifying Iowa College of Law students. In addition to the scholarship, the IIPLA will pay the registration fee and hotel expenses for the recipients to attend the IIPLA annual meeting in October 2019.
To be considered for the scholarship, the IIPLA must receive a completed application by March 31, 2019. The IIPLA will name award recipients by mid-June 2018. Applications should be sent to Luke Morhauser at firstname.lastname@example.org
