The Iowa College of Law team of Tyler Latcham and Alex Lodge recently won the Midwest region of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court Competition. Latcham and Lodge were also recognized as the “Best Oral Advocates,” and they will head to Washington, D.C., on April 13 to compete in the National Championship round.

Iowa Law students Brianna Chamberlin and Shyam Goswami also gave an outstanding performance in the regional competition, and helped coach the winning team to victory.

Congratulations to both teams and their faculty coach, Professor Bohannan. Iowa Law especially thanks the practice round judges who devoted their time and expertise to help these students succeed.
